Ultra Clean Etch Extra Strength
Topkote Ultra Clean Etch is formulated for use on porcelain or ceramic surfaces to provide a mechanical bond between the substrate and primer.

Directions:Step 1: Using 3M’s Scotch-Brite 7447 Hand Pad, clean the entire tub surface with Topkote Tub & Tile Cleaner to remove any soap scum or contaminants. Rinse with water thoroughly until no bubbles remain. This will ensure the surface is ready for uniform etch. Step 2: Pour 2-4 ounces of Topkote Ultra Clean Etch into the tub bottom and use a 3M Scotch-Brite 7447 Hand Pad to coat the entire tub surface thoroughly up to the rails. Let stand 3-5 minutes then thoroughly rinse with water. Step 3: Wet sand the entire tub surface with 80 grit wet or dry sandpaper. This will ensure there is no chalking from etching and give your tub the perfect surface profile ready for Topkote 2000 Epoxy Primer.
